To reset it: Acura MDX 2003 check engine light?

To reset it: Acura MDX 2003


With the key off, press and hold the trip odometer reset button.


Continue to hold the button in and turn the key to the 'on' position.


After 5 or 10 seconds the light will go out. You can let go of the button at that point and your done.


I did all that it didn't reset it.|||Have someone with a code reader check the codes and reset it. Then, since you know WHY the engine light came on, you can have it looked at.|||was the car LOOKED at before you tried to reset the light ??? check engine lights come on for a reason...
