My 2001 acura mdx has on the radio CD Error Code ErE1?

i disconnected the battery but still have the error ne ideas on what i can do about this.|||Dee, Did you enter your radio code? If not, do so, then try it again, it should work. If not, you'll need to go to Acura.





Edit: unplug the battery again for 30 seconds, then re-enter the code... it should work.|||THANK YOU!!! This worked for me--after trying several other methods (like "hit it hard") I had three discs in, two that were burned and one with a label from the library (best to use only commercially pressed cd's with no labels, now i know.) Made sure I had the code first! Anyway, thanks so much!

|||have your honda/acura dealer look into it. since this is an ERROR code, there may be an issue within the stereo itself. if they decide a new one is the fix, weigh out the cost of the original versus an aftermarket unit.|||take it to the dealer. Either that, or buy an aftermarket head unit.
