I mean would that ruin the engine?|||The MDX has a timing belt, and using a lower grade fuel is fine...but you won't get all the horsepower you paid for.|||belt most likey and you can use any fuel made
its how many miles you get using it
high octane is only recomended octane and since each brand of fuel is different you as drive needs to know which fuels your car need to get best fuel mileage
you test a few octanes starting with place you like to stop most fil up with highest octane set mileage drive it til you need to refill same place use next lower octane and one that gtes you best mileage is right one to use at that place only
its like say my nissan gets great mileage with shell high octane but sam mileage with mobil regular
lower the octane wil just get you less mileage sometimes and some times there is no different
you as driver has to test to see which your car wants or needs its not what it cost you its how many miles you get using it and they dont make a gasoline fuel that you cant use just some will get you better mileage than others
an dyou don tneed to worry about timing belt of chain for a few more years 100,000 or longer|||Most all Acura's I have seen had a timing belt.
My Accura manual recommends premium fuel, but it is multi-octane rated. So -it will run on regular, mid-grade, or premium.
Octane has nothing to what so ever with gas mileage, no way-no how.|||Chain. Using 91 sometimes will not hurt the engine.|||Its Timing Belt, its fine for the gas....no it wont ruin the engine.
