And... Can I use just any engine for Acura MDX without taking into consideration the VIN number or Engine number?
I know that some people will say "go to the Acura dealer" but I need to know any other alternatives since some dealers will "take your arm and legs" on things like these.|||The engine is "manufactured" by Acura (Honda). If you mean remanufactured, there are many places that do it. Try eBay for a start, unless you want to call around to local parts stores, or use car-part.com. This kind of thing has to be special ordered. A dealer will cost you 8-10k for a new one.
