I'm looking at older ones (first gen) like 2001 or so. I know that older TL's were horrible for transmission failures..I just wanted to know if anyone knew the ACTUAL failure rate...is it like 2.5%? 20%? 50%?|||Hey man. Not sure of the actual percentage, but I have never heard from any mechanics or read anything that said they were anything like the pre-2004 TL's or CL's.
I know 2 people that drive the MDX. One has a 2001 with 144K and the other has a 2006 with 60K. Neither have had any transmission concerns.
